Localizada no Banco da Vitória, Ilhéus, Bahia; a AMATA é a associação mantenedora do Ilê Axé Odé Omopondá Aladê Ijexá, terreiro de Candomblé, de origem Nagô, nação Ijexá. Além disso, é uma entidade civil, de cunho sociocultural, beneficente e sem fins lucrativos, que tem por finalidade o bem estar do ser humano na luta pela paz e dignidade humana, trabalhando através do princípio da fraternidade universal. Tem por objetivo auxiliar aqueles que necessitam, sem discriminação de cor, raça, credo ou situação política.

Located at Banco da Vitória, Ilhéus, Bahia; the AMATA is the association that mantains the Ilê Axé Odé Omopondá Aladê Ijexá, religious center of Nagô's source and Ijexá's tradition. Moreover, it's a civil entity socio-cultural, beneficent and non-profit created to help people improve them welfare, peace and human dignity, working based on the principle of universal fraternity. With goals to give this help for all the people who needs, without color breakdown, racism, religious discrimination or political prejudice.
